Our Pontiac Firebird K.I.T.T
Building a screen-accurate Knight Rider KITT car was a true two-year labor of love, driven by our shared passion for classic TV nostalgia and high-performance muscle cars. We started with a 1992 Pontiac Firebird Formula WS6, equipped with a 5.7L V8—chosen not only for its power and improved handling over the original 1982 Trans Am, but also as a solid foundation to bring KITT to life with modern reliability.
Using a later-year Firebird came with its own set of challenges. To ensure total visual accuracy, we sourced a 1982 donor car and transplanted the entire interior—including the signature PMD seats—into our build. Only then could we begin the painstaking process of installing, wiring, and testing the legendary KITT dashboard and switch panels, staying faithful to every detail from the show.
Every element of the dash is fully functional, with real-time gauges and readouts, and a voicebox that actually speaks when fuel is low or issues arise—just like the original KITT. Even better, the car responds to voice commands and can deploy features like a smoke screen or oil slick on cue, delivering the perfect blend of retro sci-fi flair and modern-day tech.

Frequently Asked Questions
YES! We want everyone to be able to experience sitting inside KITT. Whether your event is for a handful of friends or a convention attended by thousands, we are happy to provide our vehicles with ‘doors-open’.
If the purpose of the rental is for TV / Film and you are able to provide proof of appropriate insurance, then YES, you can drive KITT on a closed road or private space. All details must be agreed in principal before making a booking.
We provide services across Spain. If you need transportation outside of the Alicante / Murcia area, there is a charge of 1EUR per mile. Feel free to reach out to us for a personalized quote.
Unfortunately there are many aspects of KITT that make it unsuitable for passing an ITV test, so at the present time KITT will be transported to your location and can only be used for static events. We’re working on it though!
